Golden Cornbread

Serves: 8

   3 cups yellow cornmeal
   1 cup whole wheat flour
   2 tablespoons baking powder
   1 teaspoon salt
   2 cups buttermilk
   1/2 cup butter melted
   1/2 cup agave
   3 eggs beaten

Golden Cornbread is from the Cook'n with Agave collection.

Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Combine buttermilk, butter, agave and eggs in separate large bowl. Stir buttermilk mixture into flour mixture just until moistened. Pour into greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350°F 25 minutes or until golden brown.
